Fidelis Cybersecurity announces partnership with StarLink to deliver Automated Detection and Response to enterprises across Europe
Strategic collaboration will extend Fidelis’ channel base, support local resellers and improve security options for enterprises facing increasingly sophisticated attacks
London UK – May 1, 2018 - Fidelis Cybersecurity, the leader in automated detection and response, has announced a major partnership with StarLink. StarLink will become the main distributor of Fidelis’ network breach detection, endpoint detection and response, and deception solutions to enterprises across Europe to further enhance Fidelis’ reach across the region. StarLink is one of the region’s largest and fastest growing distributors, with an on-the-ground presence in 16 countries. StarLink helps channel partners differentiate offerings and assists customers in the identification of risks and priorities for enterprise security.
Fidelis joins StarLink’s channel network of IT security and specialised partners to offer the Fidelis Elevate platform, the only solution that automates detection and response of attacks and data leakage. By integrating network visibility, endpoint detection and response, data loss prevention and deception, Fidelis Elevate provides understaffed and overwhelmed security teams with greater context, enriched analysis and automated workflows. This “turnkey” solution enables security teams to focus on the most urgent threats rather than spending precious time validating and triaging thousands of alerts. StarLink’s channel network has a dedicated team to support new and existing resellers, and the partnership will help extend Fidelis’ channel base in the region.
“Cyber-attacks are growing in sophistication and many enterprise security teams lack the complete, visibility-enhancing technology to both see and respond to those threats and data exfiltration attempts,” said Paul Roberts, Regional Director, Northern Europe at Fidelis Cybersecurity. “Companies are mistakenly going down the route of creating patchwork defences to respond to modern threats – but this ultimately creates more work and greater complexity. They need a unified security stack that delivers contextual perspective across the entire environment to quickly and effectively detect and respond to malicious activity at every stage of the kill chain and mitigate data leakage and exfiltration.
“Our partnership with StarLink will meet the market demand for enterprises looking for a single, unified platform that automates the detection and response of both attacks on the enterprise as well as data leakage, and creating an opportunity for active defence. With its channel network, StarLink is uniquely positioned to meet this demand by introducing our solutions to key markets, as well as helping to create additional revenue and growth opportunities for our partners,” concluded Roberts.
“We are delighted to partner with Fidelis and for it to join our strategic channel network,” said Avinash Advani, SVP - Strategic Alliances & Sales for North America and Europe, at StarLink. “Too many enterprises still over-complicate their defence strategies and this puts a major strain on security operations, especially with the influx of alerts. With the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into effect in May 2018, enterprises will need to have an active defence strategy to prevent critical alerts from slipping through the net and risking a hefty fine from the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).”
